MEMPHIS, August 31, 2009 - The Grizzlies are set to hit Memphis with their “Round Town Tour,” which will go to different parks, festivals and events throughout the city during the entire month of September to help get Grizzlies fans excited about the upcoming 2009-10 season.
Grizzlies fans of all ages are invited to join Grizzlies players, coaches, executives, Grizz and the Grizz Girls to help tip-off the start of the season in a festive setting at a variety of Memphis locations. The Grizzlies will be pulling out all the stops with live entertainment from local band A-440 at five of the locations, along with inflatables, air brush tattoo artists, interactive games and balloon artists set to entertain as well. Grizzlies players and coaches in attendance will join right in the celebration with fans at these locations, allowing Grizzlies faithful to take photos and get autographs from their Grizzlies heroes.
The Grizzlies “Round Town Tour” will make stops at five local parks, where fans can enjoy free pizza from Little Caesar’s and free refreshments from Pepsi. The tour will also bring their Grizzlies brand of excitement to the Bartlett, Germantown and Cooper Young Festivals and a multitude of area high school football games. All fans who sign up for Grizzlies E-News during the party will receive a free preseason ticket and will be registered to receive Grizzlies information throughout the year.
In case of inclement weather, the “Round Town Tour” will take place, but will only feature an autograph session with a Grizzlies player.
