Michael Carter-Williams notched a triple-double, his second of the season, Monday night at Madison Square Garden, but his performance wasn’t enough to weather a potent Knicks attack that featured four 20-point scorers (Anthony, Hardaway Jr., Stoudemire, and Smith).

Carter-Williams joined seven other players this season who have had more than one triple-double and became the fastest player to do so since the 1989-90 season, matching the 51 games it took David Robinson to accomplish the feat.

Thaddeus Young added 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, and Tony Wroten scored 23 points off the bench.

The Sixers return to action Wednesday night against the Sacramento Kings.
