FANS WHO DONATE ONE OR MORE NEW CHILDREN’S BOOKS WILL RECEIVE A VOUCHER

FOR A POSTGAME AUTOGRAPH SESSION WITH SIXERS FORWARD ARNETT MOULTRIE

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – MARCH 8, 2014 – The Philadelphia 76ers today announced details for their annual SIXERS STRONG Book Drive, which takes place on Saturday, March 8 when the Sixers host the Utah Jazz at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:30 p.m. All children’s books collected will benefit Cradles to Crayons (C2C), an organization that provides underserved children from infancy to age 12 with the items they need both at school and home.

Fans who bring one or more new children’s books will receive a voucher for a postgame autograph session with Sixers forward Arnett Moultrie.

“Cradles to Crayons is a valuable partner in providing children with the material items they need to succeed in life, both in and out of the classroom,” said Sixers CEO Scott O’Neil. “As we join the nation in celebrating March as National Reading Month, we hope our fans will help us further C2C’s efforts by donating books at our upcoming home game.”

The SIXERS STRONG Book Drive is a part of the team’s long-standing Drive 4 Kids program, which is sponsored annually by Comcast SportsNet.
