Channing Frye and Ish Smith to Co-Chair
Phoenix Suns forward Channing Frye and guard Ish Smith will serve as honorary co-chairs for the Suns Charities 88 inaugural progressive dinner, the “Slam Dunk” street party, on Friday, October 18 in downtown Phoenix. The event begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for $188 each and can be purchased at Suns.com/SlamDunk.
The “Slam Dunk” street party, presented by Fidelity National Title Agency, will tip-off with a cocktail reception on the plaza at US Airways Center, then move to Central Avenue for a sit-down dinner. The event will culminate back at the arena with dancing, dessert and live entertainment by local band, Elvis Before Noon, on the main court level.
During the event, guests will enjoy complimentary drinks, including a signature cocktail, the “Buzzer Beater,” as well as an exclusive menu with seasonal and local fare created by Levy Restaurants Executive Chef, Jon Clancy.
Guests will also have an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for $20 each, or six tickets for $100, for a chance to win a road trip with the Suns to Los Angeles on December 10. In addition, the Suns Gorilla, members of the Suns Dancers, Solar Squad, Golden Grannies and DJ Dizzie will be in attendance to entertain guests throughout the evening.
Proceeds from the “Slam Dunk” street party will benefit Phoenix Suns Charities, the philanthropic arm of the Phoenix Suns which provides grants to children and family services throughout Arizona. For questions about tickets and sponsorship opportunities, email email@example.com.
